SIRTEQ Valorisation day 2020

As part of the DIM SIRTEQ, we organize an annual awareness day in order to create a fabric of people educated in valuing within SIRTEQ teams. The third edition of this day will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Institut d’Optique, 2 avenue Augustin Fresnel 91127 Palaiseau.

Four major conferences are planned, concrete examples of business creation based on fundamental concepts, conferences on the approach and support systems. We will also have short interventions from the funders of the premature and maturation programs.

A poster session will be organized to create links between development professionals and DIM researchers.

OBJECTIF

This day is a special moment of information and exchange in order to train SIRTEQ's research teams in the various aspects of innovation and business creation, and to enable the launch of industrial transfers in the Ile de France.

The aim is to ensure that all the SIRTEQ teams, representing a significant part of the French quantum technology community, can fully contribute to the innovation actions of the European Flagship.

TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION

The objective of this competition is to stimulate the thinking of SIRTEQ teams around experimental techniques / technologies / new concepts / software developed within the framework of their research, and which could be carried towards a valorization.

The envisaged development can be the filing of a patent, the declaration of know-how, a possible transfer to an industrialist, and why not the creation of a start-up.

The competition takes place in two stages:

Initially, a file (3 pages max) downloadable ici ,  must present in an educational way the technology intended for a possible patent filing / technological transfer to an existing company / lead to the creation of start-ups. The drafting must take into account the fact that the members of the jury are not necessarily physicists (quantum or other), but actors of the valorization (representatives of SATTs, CNRS Innovation, Incubators…).

Secondly, the technology must be presented by a member of the team at the valuation awareness day. It is 5 minutes of presentation followed by 10 minutes of questions.

Prizes: the winners will be awarded one of three prizes of € 2k, € 4k or € 8k. This funding, paid to the team, will be spent freely, without necessarily having to be devoted to achieving the valuation presented.

Please note: deadline February 20, 2020
